Tania,
I really appreciate your thoughts. I agree we all suffer the abuses of life to one degree or another, and that they help us grow. I, too, am at a place where I have greatly reduced the negatives and enhanced the positives. Most of the time, I am able to trust that I'll be okay. When I find myself in the sadness or resentments of the past, or the anxiety and fears of the future, I know to get myself back to the here and now. I so enjoy living in the moment now. I totally know that feeling of rediscovering not only myself, but people, places and things that are around me. They are gifts and blessings that have been there all along, waiting for me to be ready for them.
You sound content. I am very happy for you!

Change requires TRUST! I love this, it's so very true. When we connect with that trust, trust to change and live in the now, it's overwhemling the amount of beauty and life that opens up right before our eyes. It's as if a curtain is drawn and suddenly we see the vivid colors of life, the beautifully sewn tapestries, the richness and warmth of EXISTING IN THE NOW. And we began to realize what it means to be truely alive and that it's ok to let yesterdays self (which no longer exists) fall away with all it's baggage. This is freedom, this is living, this is trust, this is change. Thank you!

I love this post. I have written a couple of articles about surrendering to the Universe in my blog. It is not an easy thing to do, but it is then that the Universe will unfold for us.
I love your blog.

"Change requires trust" Also trust in ourselves! For me i think that is the most difficult part, trusting myself.
And I think for most of us, the fear of change is because of our comfort zones.. much easier just staying where we are, not moving forward, not changing, because of fear, and because of no trust in ourselves!

Nice post!
