It is the state of the world today to pass the buck. My wife and I both complain about this situation. Everyone seems ready to place blame as long as it isn't on themselves. I try to admit responsibility when I do something wrong. Actually I tend to take responsibility for things that were in no way my fault. It is a problem I have. I just wish people would be more willing to take responsibility and own their mistakes. You cannot learn from something you refuse to accept that you did in the first place.

Hi Ian,
Thank you for your response to my post, I did edit & take the link to the mentioned law firm out. My post wasn't really about drinking and driving (although I used that as an example because it is close to my heart). My post was more about accepting personal responsibilty for our actions; we as a society don't any more...

I work in the healing arts. Yes, times are tough. We are all fighting to stay just one step ahead. Ethically, I will still turn down a client, or student, if I don't feel that they are trying to help themself. To be responsible for their Self.

My post was about morals, ethics, culture & personal responsibilty.

"this day and age"... just shows what we have become as a society.

With blessings,
~Tania

Drunk drivers need to be held responsible for what they do and can do. Just the other day my neighbor nailed this drunk driver for thrashing his car through this los angeles accident attorney. Tightening the laws and showing little tolerance can solve the drunk driving epidemic.

My first accident was a real shock of a horror!

If it would have happened in this day and age we would have claimed damages.
